Silvertree Survival was established in 2006. Jamie Gordon, Managing Director and Founder, had a very clear direction in mind:
Silvertree aims to help young people reach their full potential within a supportive and challenging environment. We aim to equip them with life skills, help them develop resilience, and prepare them for their own personal challenges.
Glen Hurich, our Scottish base camp also the staging area for bonnie prince charlie.
Silvertree helps them gain the confidence to make informed decisions and enjoy independent and healthy lives.
We are an independent outdoor education provider. The service we provide compliments the school curriculum and focuses on the whole child - their emotional, social, and physical well being.

Most children, whatever their age or circumstance benefit from attending a Silvertree Programme and learning in the 'outdoor classroom'. There are some children, though, who seem to thrive on it. Those who may be struggling in school or at home for whatever reason and need some extra nurturing, children who are out of the mainstream school system for reasons such as anti-social behaviour, classroom phobia, etc.
Mostly it's all about where we teach, how we teach, and what we teach.
